Dryer Vent Cleaning FAQS

Q: Why do I need to get my dryer vent cleaned?

A: Every time you dry clothes, lint is trapped in your piping system. Your lint trap is designed to catch 50% of the lint, leaving 50% to be routed out of the venting system. Unfortunately, all of that does not make it outside, building up in your pipe, causing blockages, inefficient drying, and putting you at a huge risk of a devastating dryer vent fire. Mix in birds that chose to nest in your piping and small rodents that decide that cozy lint makes a nice home, and it becomes clear why an annual cleaning is a must!
Q: What is all included in the dryer vent cleaning?

A: Cleaning and vac the entire piping system with a rotary brush breaking up and sucking out all the lint and anything else in your system. Cleaning the exterior vent and verifying that it is operating properly, Cleaning the inside of the dryer itself, inspecting all piping and joints. Hook up the dryer, run it and test for proper flow and a general clean-up of the area.
Q: How long does it take?

A: Typically, service takes 1 hour, depending on the fullness of the vent and the layout of the venting itself.
Q: Do I need to be home during the service?

A: While you are not required to be home during service, it is usually a good idea as we will need access to the dryer and vent.
Q: Do you do dryer vent repair?

A: Yes, we do!!
Q: How often should I have my dryer vent cleaned?

A: We recommend it be done annually, but each system is different. At the time of service, we will go through that with you and recommend a cleaning schedule based on your system.

Air Duct Cleaning FAQS

Q: Why do I need to get my air ducts cleaned?

A: Over the years, your home's air ducts collect tons of dust, dander, pet hair, allergens, construction materials, and other things that enter your duct system. They are recirculated throughout your home each time your heating and cooling system turns on; you and your family are breathing that air. Having your air ducts professionally cleaned with the proper equipment will remove anything that is lurking in your ducts.
Q: What is your service area?

A: We serve ALL of central/ west-central Minnesota as well as the west metro. Some of our regularly serviced areas are the Willmar lakes area, St.Cloud area, Hutchinson, Granite Falls, Montevideo, Glencoe, Monticello, Saint Michael, Albertville, Big Lake, Elk River, Otsego, Rogers, Maple Grove, Chaska, Eden Prairie, and everywhere in between. Q: What is all included?

A: All of your supply ducts, all return air ducts, main trunks, branches, and the furnace itself will be cleaned as well as the blower wheel. Sanitation is available for an extra charge. But the price we quote is the price you pay. We have no surprise "fees" like the other guys!!
Q: How long does it take?

A: Each home is different, but typically a home will take between 3 and 5 hours depending on size.
Q: Do you need access to all the vents?

A: Yes, we will need access to all supply and return vents. If you have large items that you are unable to move before service, we are able to move them.
Q: Do I need to be home during the service?

A: While you are not required to be home during service, it is usually a good idea to be home the first 30 minutes to go over specific questions or directions, as well as to go over the service itself.
Q: What payments do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, venom and PayPal.
Q: What is the cost for a full home air duct cleaning?

A: Our pricing is based on finished square footage. Prices start at 349.95 + tax. If you have your finished square footage handy when you request a quote, we can get you a very accurate price.

Q: What are your hours? Do you provide service on Saturdays?

A: Our hours are typically 8 AM-5 PM. On occasion, we do provide service on Saturdays, we make every effort to be as flexible as possible and can always fit customers in that have difficult schedules!!

A: We recommend every 3-5 years, depending on pets, children, and specific system configuration.
